1. Scope

These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed via our online shop. The version valid at the time of the order shall apply.

3. Products and Made-to-Order Items

All products offered in our shop are handmade and made to order. Production begins only after an order has been placed and payment has been received.

Due to the handmade nature and the use of natural vegetable-tanned leather, minor variations in color, texture, and finish are inherent characteristics and do not constitute defects.

4. Contract Conclusion

The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but an invitation to place an order.

By submitting an order, you make a binding offer to purchase the selected goods. The contract is concluded once we confirm the order by email.

5. Prices and Shipping Costs

All prices are stated in euros (EUR) and include statutory VAT, unless stated otherwise.

Shipping costs are calculated during checkout and displayed before the order is completed.

6. Payment

Payment methods available are displayed during checkout.

Production will not begin until full payment has been received.

7. Production Time and Delivery

As all items are made to order, production times vary and are indicated on the product page.

Delivery times stated are estimates and may vary due to production complexity or order volume.

We ship from Germany. For international deliveries, customs duties, taxes, or fees may apply and are the responsibility of the customer.

8. Retention of Title

The goods remain our property until full payment has been received.

9. Right of Withdrawal (Consumers)

Consumers generally have a statutory right of withdrawal.

Exception: The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods that are made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized (§ 312g para. 2 no. 1 BGB).

As our products are made to order, a right of withdrawal is excluded once production has begun.

10. Cancellation Before Production

Cancellation may be possible if production has not yet started. Please contact us immediately after placing your order.

11. Warranty and Liability

Statutory warranty rights apply.

Natural characteristics of leather, including variations in color, grain, and patina development, do not constitute defects.

We are liable without limitation for damages caused by intent or gross negligence. For slight negligence, we are liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations.

12. Care and Use

Vegetable-tanned leather is sensitive to moisture and environmental influences. Improper use or care may result in changes to the product and does not constitute a defect.

13. Repairs

We offer repairs for our products where possible. Repair services are subject to individual assessment and may incur costs.

14. Applicable Law

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).

For consumers, this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive them of mandatory consumer protections in their country of residence.

15. Jurisdiction

If the customer is a merchant, the place of jurisdiction is our registered office in Germany.

16. Online Dispute Resolution

The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR): https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr

We are not obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
